Great days out for clients and staff!

Sometimes it is very rewarding to be taken out of your comfort zone. Presented with the problem of finding your way through unfamiliar territory can be challenging, whether it is in the office or out in the hills.

Proving that you can learn the skills as a team to cope with a new situation boosts morale, creates bonds and renews enthusiasm. Whether it’s for staff or clients, or a mixture of both, the benefits are manifold and lasting.

I run non-competitive map and compass walks for companies who want something a bit different from run of the mill corporate days out. Whilst centred around learning how to navigate your way through unfamiliar terrain, the day can be tailored to your needs in terms of location and content. Transport can be arranged to the start of the day from any train station in the home counties. A good pub meal and a pint or glass of wine makes a great finish to a day in the hills.

Suggested locations include the South or North Downs, Ashdown Forest, the chalk hills, woods and heathland north of Berkhamsted, or rural Berkshire. It is, of course, possible just to enjoy a good half or full day walk, allowing time to chat whilst sharing great scenery, and leave all the navigating to me.

I speak fluent German, and good French and Italian, so if you have overseas staff or clients who want a very British experience in the countryside, I am very happy to deliver that.
